First Grade: Mural
First Grade made a mural. A mural is large artwork, typically painted on the inside or outside of buildings.
We made an underwater mural because we read Fun with Fish.
We colored fish with markers or colored pencils. Then we glued the fish on a large piece of blue paper which was the ocean.
We hung the mural in the hallway for all to see.
3rd Grade: Plotting Pictures
Math standard for this activity was to interpret a frequency table, bar graph, pictograph, or line plot. After student plotted the points, students used different patterns to design their boats.
